Wooden bowls have been made for centuries. Wooden bowls can be functional and great for everyday use, such as salad or
fruit bowls or they can be decorative and used to accent the home. Regardless of use, a good quality wooden bowl is a keepsake that
can be passed down for many generations. Wood bowls make wonderful gifts!
At DK's Wooden Expressions our wooden bowls are made from a variety of woods, many of which can be found locally in the Southern California area. Whenever possible, we will include a decription of where the wood used for a particular bowl was gathered.
Each of our bowls is individually hand turned. We take great care to highlight the natural beauty of the wood. The bowl is then sanded until all surfaces are as smooth as possible, and finally an appropriate finish is applied to further enhance and protect the natural beauty of the wood..
Since wood has many unique characteristics, all of our bowls are one-of-a-kind works. As such, when a bowl is sold....it is gone. It is very difficult to make an exact duplicate of a particular bowl, although if you see a particular wood or style you are fond of custom orders are welcome!
You will find Bowl Care instructions on our Care Guideline web-page. With proper care, your new bowl should last for generations.
We will ship your new bowl within 24 to 48 hours of receiving order. Our shipping and handling rates are based on the weight of your bowl. Please refer to our Policies page for more specifics regarding shipping policies..
If for any reason you are not satisfied with your new bowl, please contact us via e-mail immediately so that we can arrange for you to return your bowl. Please return the bowl in original condition and in the original packaging in which it was shipped. Upon receiving the bowl, we will gladly refund the original purchase price including the cost of shipping. Return shipping and insurance costs are will be your responsibility.
